Hi, I’m Caileigh Nicks, a Huntsville, TX, artist, and I love bringing creative ideas to life. I’ve been ‘artsy’ since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and I’ve been using art for my whole life to inspire myself and others. At age 11, I took on my first commission—a stylized portrait of two film characters for a friend. Ever since, I have continued to create original artworks to bring ideas to life through art. Whether it’s a family caricature, a pet portrait, a wildlife scene, or a surrealist adventure, I can bring your vision into reality.

Over the years, I’ve grown my skills and shared my work with others, selling numerous artworks, such as watercolors and sketches in the Conroe Art Fair, as well as selling art by commission locally. I’m also proud to have been recognized in several art competitions winning many blue ribbons as well as several Best-in-Show ribbons from the Conroe Art League, the Lone Star Art Guild, and the Walker County Fair.
Nearly three years ago, I began volunteering for the Huntsville Public Library, and I started an art program at the library that teaches art techniques and fun new styles to the local kids, to help them discover their own creativity and learn basic art skills. This program has been highly successful, and I look forward every week to seeing what amazing things my students will achieve.

I have mentored some amazing students one-on-one as well, and I do provide private lessons for kids who want to take their art skills to the next level! If you’re interested, just get in touch!
I occasionally offer group events – coming up this spring/summer, I’ll be running a group class that revolves around creating some mini masterpieces of your own – check out the Events section of the website if you you want to learn more, or just click here on the highlighted bit in this section.
My art is inspired and influenced by both nature and my own imagination. Whether I’m painting, sketching, or experimenting with digital designs, I love capturing moments that inspire awe, intrigue, and even laughter. When I’m not creating, I’m usually somewhere with a cup of coffee and with a cat on my lap, or else I’m trying to improve my musical or writing skills.
